The Global Game is designed to facilitate and spur new collaborations between national and territorial participants of the London Design Biennale. Het Nieuwe Instituut is the Artistic Director of the London Design Biennale, planned to take start on June 1, 2023. The Artistic Director awards a specific focus on collaborative presentations through shared research, events, exhibitions and design.
Playing The Global Game is like using a dating app, but one that offers new collaborations between Biennale participants. There are four simple steps that help you earn game points.
1. Complete your 'Profile' with themes of your interest
2. Browse 'Participants' to find possible collaborators
3. Explore, create and register your 'Collaboration(s)'
4. Upload content to your 'Collaboration Page'
Within each step there are points to earn, leading to a Special Jury Commendation awarded to the most inspiring and compelling collaboration. For more info on The Global Game, please also visit:
